The prizes received are usually rare, and include painted petpets and paint brushes. Users have expressed concern with how the giveaways are affecting the Neopets economy, with items ranging in the millions of Neopoints to be in the thousands after a giveaway.
During this event, Tarla with a new humanoid look appeared at different locations for a short time period. Once you found her, you may have had choices of neopoints, an item prize, or to have a section of the mist revealed, the last of which was not available every time you found her. There were 16 mist sections in all, and you were limited to 5 item prizes each day during the event.
If you cleared all the mist by the end of the event, you got five bonus prizes. After the 26th of May the missing sections of the mist can be bought from Tarla's Shop of Mystery.
